 Hi Brian!

The word for this week is "desperation". It is found in 2 Chronicles 13:4:

4 But when they in their trouble turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and [in desperation earnestly] sought Him, He was found by them.  AMP

This is the Hebrew word "tsar". Strong's Concordance says: narrow, a tight place, in trouble. Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew Lexicon says: straits, distress, an enemy. Vine's Expository Dictionary says: describes a narrow place easily blocked by a single person. There are SO many people right now who are searching for the TRUTH, even if they don't actually know that this is what they are seeking! The enemy will always try to hinder someone from receiving Jesus as Lord and Saviour because he KNOWS that they will never be the same, and that as they grow, they will rise up to defeat him and put him on the run! I have learned to believe for the seemingly impossible in every situation because GOD loves to show Himself to His people! Never doubt that all you do for others is seen and recorded by Almighty God Himself! He keeps track and HE rewards! Here is Hillsong UNITED with "Have Mercy On Me Now":

Love and Shalom from the Swoveys!
