Hi Brian!

The word for this week is "majesty". This is found in several places in the Bible, but we will only be looking one verse for it today! 2 Peter 1:16:

2 Peter 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. KJV

This is the Greek word "megaleiotes". Strong's Concordance says: superbness, glory, splendor. The Theological Dictionary says: greatness, majesty, glory. Born again believers who actually read and study the Word of God will not be moved by the whims and ways of the world, but will learn to stand strong on the Word of the Living God!
