Hi Brian!

The word for this week is "SALVATION". We know that because we have received Jesus of Nazareth as our Lord and personal Saviour, we have Heaven as our home when we leave this earth! But it means SO much more than that! Psalm 91:16:

16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.

This is the Hebrew word: "yeshuw`ah", which is also the Hebrew Name of Jesus! It means: deliverance, aid, victory, prosperity, health, welfare according to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. In the New Testament we have Acts 4:12:

12 And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.

This is the Greek word: "soteria", which means: rescue, safety, deliver, and health according to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. It also means: preservation according to Thayer's Greek Lexicon. That pretty much covers all of our lives here on earth, as well as in Heaven! That salvation is part of our Covenant with God! Thank You, Jesus!

Here is another song from Hillsong called "Salvation Is Here":

Love and Shalom from the Swoveys!
