Hi Brian!
I hope you had a wonderful vacation! We had a great time getting to know your beautiful daughter and staying in your home. Thank you again!
The "word" for this week is compassion. Many times in the New Testament it is the Greek word "splanchnizomai", which means: to be moved as to one's inward parts, to be moved with compassion, to yearn with compassion. Where the dictionary definition of sympathy is: the fact or power of sharing feelings of another, especially in sorrow or trouble; the dictionary definition for compassion is: a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering. That is what we see operating in Jesus throughout the New Testament when He ministered to people! Some examples:
Matthew 14:14: And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick.
Matthew 20:34: So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed Him.
Mark 1:41: And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth His hand, and touched him, and said unto him, "I will; be clean".
Mark 6:34: And Jesus, when He came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and He began to teach them many things.
Notice that in these situations, Jesus was MOVED! He preached the Gospel, He taught the Word, He healed the sick, He cast out demons, He fed the multitude. He did something! MOST people have sympathy for others, but not many are moved with compassion! Compassion will always find something, or someone, to help! We won't always be able to help personally, but we can always pray. Then we can direct them to someone who CAN help them!
I don't know why this is the word for this week, but I'm sure you will probably have an opportunity to be moved with compassion! Just like Jesus! Here is the song "Mighty To Save" by Hillsong that mentions compassion:
Have a great week!

Hi Brian!
The "Word" for this week is SUCCESS. I know that you have already been very successful in your work and your life, but I believe that God wants to open up even more doors of opportunity for you and your family. The only place that the word success is found in the King James Bible is in Joshua 1:8:
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
I really like the Amplified Bible here:
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you will meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.
Of course, the Book of the Law is referring to the Word of God, the Bible. We are supposed to speak the Word, but the word "depart" here is the Hebrew word "muwsh", which means: to withdraw, to cease, to take away, to go back. That isn't referring to us speaking the Word out of our mouth, it means not having the Word in our mouths so that it can be spoken. "But you will meditate" is the Hebrew word "hagah", which means: to murmur, to ponder, to imagine, to mutter, to speak, to study, to utter, to muse. That involves your own personal study, speaking it to yourself, speaking to others. I can't tell you how many times I have read something in the Word and then the next teaching I listened to refered to the same thing, or I'd hear something from someone at church and it just added to what the Holy Spirit was telling me about it. And we are supposed to be open for this day and night! I have sometimes woken in the middle of the night and a new thought is just there!
Of course the reason for all of this is so that we can begin to put into practice the Word we are now understanding! When we do that, the promise is that we will be in position to make our own way, or manner of life, "prosperous", the Hebrew word "tsalach", which means: to push forward, to break out, be profitable, to advance, to succeed, to bring to successful issue, to experience prosperity. The Amplified is very good right here because the word for success here is actually the Hebrew word "sakal", which means; to be prudent, to be circumspect, to wisely understand, to have comprehension, to have insight. I believe that this means that you will be in a position to gain even more wisdom and insight from that Word. Knowledge of the Word of God comes layer upon layer. It takes time, but it is time well spent because Jesus said in John 8:31-32:
31 So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My Word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples. 32 And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.
Here's a song about the Word that I found:

Happy Birthday Brian!
We hope you're enjoying the party! We're posting this today because it is your actual birthday! Starting next week we'll post your Weekly Weber Word on Sunday so you can start each week off fresh!
The "word" for today is "Father". In the Old Testament it was the Hebrew word "`ab", which means: the father of an individual, the head or founder of a household, family, group; the protector. In the New Testament it is the Greek word "pater" which means: nourisher, protector, upholder. You are the one responsible for protecting and providing for your family. Of course, you and Kristine work together on what you choose to do in your household, but you have the responsibility!
Jesus prayed for us when He addressed the Father in John 17:20-23:
20 Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word. 21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. 22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one: 23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.
Then Matthew 7:11 says this:
11 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in heaven [perfect as he is] give good and advantageous things to those who keep on asking Him!
You are already a wonderful father to Avery Elise! As you gain a greater understanding of how very much YOU are loved by God the Father, you will become an even better father to her!
Have a wonderful birthday!
