Hi Brian!

The word for this week is "treasures". We will be looking at these portions of Scripture:

Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: KJV

Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; 3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. KJV

These are both the  Greek word "thesauros": Strong's Concordance says: a deposit, wealth. Thayer's Greek Lexison adds: the place in which goods and precious things are collected and laid up, storehouse, repository. The things laid up in a treasury; collected treasures.

The main point in these verses is that we have been BLESSED with more than enough to meet everyone of the needs and desires of GOD'S PEOPLE!  He is SO looking forward to surprising us with manifestations of HIS power and might by His Spirit Who lives IN US! Keep 'looking up' HE is coming soon! Here is Brandon Lake with Graves To Gardens":

Love and Shalom from the Swoveys!
