The word for this week is "speak". We will be looking at this word found three times in Mark 13:11:

But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. KJV

This is the Greek word "laleo". Strong's Concordance says: to talk, utter words. Thayer's Greek Lexicon says: to utter a voice, to emit a sound, to use the faculty of speech, use words in order to declare one's mind and disclose one's thoughts.The Theological Dictionary of the New Testament says: to speak, to gather with the twofold nuance of repitition and separation. God spoke the world we know into existence with WORDS! We are called to a ministry of "reconciliation". Speaking God's Word into every situation allows HIM to go to bat for you!
