Hi Brian!

I'm going to do something a little different again for the blog this week. I know that music is a big part of your life. Even though I've never played an instrument, and have never had a great singing voice, music has always been special to me. It is also a medium that the Lord uses to teach me or to make the Word more clear to me. I was thinking about the song
"Oceans" by Hillsong UNITED today and it so speaks to some of the changes that have been happening in your lives! Here are the lyrics:
You call me out upon the waters
The great unknown where feet may fail
And there I find You in the mystery
In oceans deep
My faith will stand
And I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine
Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now
So I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise, my soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever You would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
It has been such a blessing to see how the Lord  has lead Kristine every step of the way in this new career path! She has truly stepped out upon new waters, where it was either sink or swim! Her faith, trust and confidence in the Lord, His Word and His goodness has been rewarded over and over. And I am confident that it has only just begun! What I realized as I was thinking about this, though, is that it took just as much faith, trust and confidence for YOU to fully support these new changes! In fact, I'm sure that in some ways it was even harder for you, because you could only let go, watch, pray, encourage and support her, but you couldn't do any of it FOR her! Your leadership, love, support and encouragement were YOUR way of keeping your eyes above the waves and allowing the Lord to lead YOU, too! I am so proud of both of you and how your trust in HIM has played out. It challenges me to step out of my comfort zone more, too! I also have an idea that your gifts and talents for music are going to open some doors for you spiritually, too! I will keep that in prayer, also! Here is the song Oceans. Nothing else would be as appropriate!

Love and Shalom from the Swoveys!
