Hi Brian!

This week I feel led to share Joseph Prince's "Daily Grace Inspriations" devotional!

What a Savior!

“He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.” Psalm 91:15

We have a God who wants us to run to Him. And the moment we do, He has promised that He will answer us. Not “might,” or “perhaps,” but a definite “will.

And He does not stop at merely assuring us that He will answer us. He goes on record for all eternity, saying, “I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.”

Do you know why we can have the assurance that when we call on Him, He will answer us? It’s because of the divine exchange that took place at the cross, where our Lord Jesus cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46).

He was forsaken—left helpless, totally abandoned, and deserted—so that today, we can have the confidence that our heavenly Father will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). What a Savior!

Don’t you feel so loved and so cherished by our Lord?

And He made it so easy for us to receive His promises—our part is to simply call upon Him and let Him be our God. Whatever you may be going through today, call upon Him right now and He will deliver and honor you!

Whenever I am troubled, I tell the Lord, “Lord, I am worried about this situation, but I place it in Your nail-pierced hands right now. I surrender into Your hands all my worries, concerns, and cares in this area.”

Then, I receive His peace, and when the enemy tries to fire new arrows of fear into my heart and mind, I remind myself that the situation is already in the Lord’s hands. I remind myself of His promise that He will deliver me!

Are you living with panic attacks, fear, and chronic anxiety? Don’t allow the devil to cripple you with all kinds of negative mental pictures or by replaying all the worst-case scenarios in your head.

Call out to your Savior, Jesus Christ! He wants you to cast “all your care upon Him, for He cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). You are not a sheep without a Shepherd, so stop trying to carry all your cares upon your own shoulders.

Whether it is a physical symptom, a financial challenge, or a family situation that you are anxious about, call upon Him and allow His peace to supernaturally guard your heart in every area that you are troubled (Philippians 4:6–7).

I truly sense that because HE has your whole heart, some of the things that you and your family have been believing for are going to begin to happen in some 'suddenlies'! Praying for that and for God's very BEST in every area of your lives! Here is Brandon Lake with "Count 'Em", referring to all of the things that God has done, and will do, that are too numerous to even count!

Hi Brian!

The word for this week is "dominion". We will be looking at that word from 1 Peter 4:11:

11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. KJV

This is the Greek word "kratos". Strong's Concordance says: vigor. Thayer's Greek Lexicon adds: power, strength, force, might. Vine's Expository Dictionary adds: manifested power, perfect complete. I really like this verse also from the Amplified Bible:

11 Whoever speaks, [let him do it as one who utters] oracles of God; whoever renders service, [let him do it] as with the strength which God furnishes abundantly, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him be the glory and dominion forever and ever (through endless ages). Amen (so be it).

I was meditating on this word when I saw it in the lyrics to a new song by Brandon Lake and Chris Brown called "I Know A Name". Here are a few of those lyrics:

[Verse 1: Chris Brown]
I know a Name that can silence the roaring waves
I know a Name that can empty out a grave
I know a Name, it's the only Name that saves
And it's worthy of all praise

[Chorus: Chris Brown]
I call You, Jesus
I call You, I call You Healer
Risen and reigning in power
Something comes out of the grave
Every time I call You, Jesus
I call You, I call You Savior
Worthy of glory forever
Something comes out of the grave
Every time I call Your Name

[Verse 2: Brandon Lake]
I have a King with dominion over death
He holds the keys in His holy nail-scarred hands
He is the heel, yeah-eah
That has crushed the serpent's head
Our resurrected Great I Am
Come on

JESUS HAS that DOMINION over death, and over any other tactic of the enemy. When we know that JESUS has that DOMINION, then we can have confidence becuae HE has given HIS to US to exercise over the enemy! Whatever you, Kristine and you family may come up against in this coming year, REMEMBER that YOU, as chidren of GOD, HAVE DOMINION over the enemy! Luke 10:19 says it this way:

19 Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. AMP

Here is the song with the rest of the lyrics!

Hi Brian!

The word for this week is "power". We'll be looking at two different Greek words translated 'power'. the first one is found in the two verses below.

Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. KJV

Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. KJV

Both of these are the Greek word "dunamis". Strong's Concordance says: force, specially miraculous power. Thayer's Greek Lexicon says: strength, ability, inherent power. Strong's Concordance adds: might. So GOD has this 'power' within Him, and when we receive the infilling of Holy Spirit, we also receive that same miraculous power, ability, might, strength in order to represent HIM! The other word translated 'power' is found in Matthew 28:18-20:

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. KJV

This is the Greek word "exousia". Strong's Concordance says: ability, privelege, capacity, freedom. Thayer's Greek Lexicon adds: the power of authority, rule or government. Vine's Expository Dictionary adds: delegated authority. So we born again, Spirit filled believers have both the supernatural ability to minister as JESUS did, but we have HIS AUTHORITY to do so, also! THAT is why we are all such a threat to the enemy and he strives so hard to get GOD'S people to NOT renew their minds withthe WORD so that they never realize their POWER! We are seeing more and more believers standing up to the enemy and speaking POWER and AUTHORITY to his lies! Here is one of my favorite Hillsong songs called "That's The Power":

Hi Brian!

The word for this week is "unction". We find it in these two verses in the New testament:

1 John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. KJV

1 John 2:27 But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do].  AMP

This is the Greek word "chrisma". Strong's Concordance says: an unguent or smearing, special endowment of Holy Spirit. Vine's Expository Dictionary says: That believers have "an anointing from the Holy One" indicates that this anointing renders them holy, separating them to God. The passage teaches that the gift of the Holy Spirit is the all efficient means of enabling believers to possess a knowledge of the truth. Chrisma stands for the "anointed" one, "Christ," the noun standing by metonymy for the person Himself, as for the Holy Spirit. Every born again believer HAS this UNCTION! We HAVE Holy Spirit living IN us! 1 John 2:27 tells us that having THIS 'unction', or anointing (Holy Spirit) living IN us means that we have one on one access to HIM! The ANOINTED ONE and HIS ANOINTING! We lack NOTHING that is needful for success ad victory BECAUSE we have HIM living IN us! That priceless privilege and POWERFUL PRESENCE is ALWAYS available TO us when we SEEK HIM! My prayer for you and your family for 2025 is that you will realize HIS presence ALWAYS in you and rely on HIM more thoroghly and completely than ever before! HE desires us to know HIM more like that! Here is Brandon Lake with "Miracle Child" which is what each one of us is to HIM!
